My Haiku poem

Yesterday I was given a head teachers award and put in the schools Good Book for writing a Haiku poem about autumn. A Haiku poem is a poem with 5 syllables in the first line 7 syllables in the 2nd line and 5 syllables in the 3rd line, a total of 17 syllables.

Leaves are falling down

The branches are getting bare

Jumping in the leaves

I read my poem and explained what a Haiku poem is to the whole school and some parents, including mummy.

As a reward Mummy & Daddy gave me a card and a box of molicules.

I love science!!

Back to School

img_20160907_071321I started year 1 on Tuesday.  The best thing was meeting my friends again.  I also enjoyed learning about Karate in collective worship, I got to hold the 2nd grade brown belt in front of the whole school.

My Score !!

On Saturday I went swimming with Mummy and Daddy, I did some brilliant brilliant swimming, I swam 5 and 6 metres and I even pushed the float with one of my swimming toys which go underneath the water, and its a shark and it spins ( it isn’t a real shark).  After swimming we went to the Swan Centre in Eastleigh, we did some Ten Pin bowling, I really loved it because I won, daddy did really badly.

20160911_132401.jpgToday I went with Granny Karen and Rix to Hundred Acre Woods, we had a picnic, then I played in the play park and went for a walk and a bike ride.  We found some creepy crawlies including a black beetle, which was actually a dung beetle.

Next week I will be writing a book review on the Railway Children.

Summer Holidays

Schools going to start tomorrow, I know this is called summer holidays but today the teachers are practicing for tomorrow to make sure that they can teach the children properly.

I  am very very excited for tomorrow because i’m going to be in year one and going to see Mr. Arthur.

But before that i am going to give you a summery of my holidays, because it was the summer holidays ( get it?)

At the very start of my summer holidays i was going to ultimate activity camp.

at camp  I did:

  • Cooking
  • made new friends
  • Swimming
  • played dodge ball
  • played football

plus did lots and lots of other things.  I would tell others to go to this camp as it was really really really good!. Sadly no photos of camp as cameras weren’t allowed.
